How do I get a computer whose C drive was wiped to run?

You don't need a boot disk. First, open the PC, and make sure the HDD and CD drive are both conencted, push on teh connectors to make sure. The Start the computer, enter the BIOS when the manufacturer logo appears (del, F1, F2). Set the CD drive to boot from first, then HDD. Put the CD in and reboot. Install as prompted. Then reboot, enter BIOS, and set the HDD to boot from first.
