Movie about the gymnastic doorman?

Who can tell me the name of the movie about a man who got a job like a doorman or janitor in a hotel or school, but he got troubles spreading a white sticky substance on the corridor floor, and then he has to jump from corner to corner of the corredor hanging of some bars, the man turned into acrobat and amazing gymnastics doorman. It is a old movie, maybe from 80's, it is one of my favorites movies and I would like to see it again. Thank you for any help or idea about it.
