How likely is it to get a photography job in England?

My dream is to become a photographer/editor, and I've finally decided to follow my dream and attend art college. But I'm so scared of working hard for 2 years and then not being able to get a job afterwards. I live in Plymouth in the UK. can anyone help? cheers! :)
