Iphone woes?

okay decided i wanted an iphone alright so i went into the at&t store.so i told the lady to go and ring one up.The blance was 900!!!i was like wtf hoe.she said i had to pay a deposit of 500 dollars on top of the iphone because i dont have established credit so appearantly i can't be trusted to make monthly payments of 60 dollars.even after i told them and proved to them i have a full time fukcing job.okay so AT&reTarded wont trust me with a 60 dollar phone bill but a car dealership will trust me with a 250 dollar car bill for 5 years? WTF .thats all i have to say about that is WTF. alright so my question is have any other iphone owners had to pay an extra deposit thing or was your total just for the iphone(include the price if you like).do other phone service providers do this gay ****.sorry if its hard to understand for i am pretty pissed and am typing furiously right now
