Jungle Fever?

I am an African American female who's dating a Caucasian male. We have been dating for about 2 months (platonic) and we are starting to really like one another. The problem is that when we're in private I am very affectionate but in the public, I feel embarrased. He is ok with how I feel, FOR NOW, but I know that will change eventually. I'm not ashamed of him but I just feel weird. This is my first relationship like this and I don't really know how to handle it. Besides being Caucasian; he is 27 years older than I am. Other than that, he's a widow and I am divorced and we have everything in common.....you can say that we are soul mates even. I just don't feel comfortable with everyone knowing about us and seeing everything. What can I do? PLEASE HELP ME
